1. Definitions
- “Site” means mastercard-casino-list-canada.com, its subpages and our newsletter;
- “Content” means the rankings, reviews, comparison tables, payment guides, bank and province information, images and other material we publish;
- “Operator” means an online casino or other gambling company that we review, list or link to;
- “User” or “you” means any person who visits or uses the Site.
2. Eligibility
2.1. The Site is intended for adults of legal gambling age in their province: 19+ in most provinces and 18+ in Alberta, Manitoba and Québec. By using the Site, you confirm that you meet this age requirement.
2.2. Gambling rules differ between provinces and territories. Ontario and Alberta run regulated markets with registered private operators, while other provinces offer online gambling through Crown lottery corporations. You are responsible for checking that online gambling with a given Operator is permitted where you live before you open an account.
3. What the Site Provides
3.1. We compare online casinos that accept Mastercard and publish practical information on card deposits, payouts back to the card, cash advance rules at Canadian banks, licences, welcome offers and alternatives such as Interac.
3.2. We do not accept bets, hold player funds or process payments. Accounts, deposits, withdrawals, bonuses and identity checks are handled by the Operator you choose, under its own terms, licence and privacy policy. Any dispute about an account, a payment or a bonus is between you and that Operator.
3.3. Card approval is decided by your card issuer. Whether a Mastercard payment to an Operator is approved, declined or billed as a cash advance depends on your bank and your cardholder agreement, not on us.
4. Accuracy of Information
4.1. We check deposit limits, payout times, bonus terms and licence details when we publish and update our Content, and our team tests deposits and withdrawals at the casinos we rank. Operators and banks change their terms often, so figures may differ by the time you visit a cashier.
4.2. Before you deposit, confirm the current minimum deposit, payout method, wagering requirement and bonus terms on the Operator’s site, and the cash advance terms in your cardholder agreement.
4.3. If you spot an outdated or incorrect detail, write to [email protected]. We review every report and correct confirmed errors.
5. Rankings and Commercial Relationships
5.1. Our rankings reflect how each Operator handles Mastercard deposits and payouts, its licence, its payout record and its terms for Canadian players.
5.2. Some Operators pay us a fee when a reader opens an account through a link on the Site. These payments fund our testing and research. They never cost you anything, and they do not change the facts we publish about deposits, payouts, fees or licences.
5.3. Bonus offers and promotions listed on the Site are provided by Operators. They are subject to each Operator’s terms, including eligibility, wagering requirements and expiry periods.
6. Links to Third-Party Sites
6.1. The Site links to Operators, banks, regulators and support organisations. We do not control these websites and are not responsible for their content, availability, security or practices.
6.2. Your use of a third-party website is governed by that website’s own terms and privacy policy.
7. Acceptable Use
You agree not to:
- Use the Site for any unlawful purpose or to facilitate gambling by minors;
- Copy, scrape, republish or sell our Content without our written permission;
- Use bots or automated tools that place an excessive load on the Site;
- Attempt to gain unauthorised access to our systems or interfere with the Site’s security;
- Send us messages that are abusive, defamatory or contain malicious code;
- Impersonate another person or misrepresent your connection with any organisation.
We may block access to the Site for anyone who breaches this section.
8. Your Submissions
8.1. When you send us feedback, reviews or other material, you confirm that it is your own and that it does not infringe anyone’s rights.
8.2. You grant us a non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to use, edit and publish your submission in connection with the Site. We will not publish your name or email address without your permission.
9. Newsletter
9.1. We send our newsletter only with your express consent, in line with Canada’s Anti-Spam Legislation (CASL).
9.2. Each email contains an unsubscribe link, and we act on unsubscribe requests within 10 business days.
10. Intellectual Property
10.1. The Content, the Site design and the name “Mastercard Casino List Canada” belong to us or our licensors and are protected by Canadian and international intellectual property laws.
10.2. You may view and print Content for personal, non-commercial use. Any other use requires our prior written permission.
10.3. Mastercard is a registered trademark of Mastercard International Incorporated. Casino names, bank names and other marks shown on the Site belong to their respective owners and are used to identify the products we compare.
11. Responsible Gambling
11.1. Gambling carries a risk of losing money. Treat it as paid entertainment, set a budget before you play and use the deposit limits, time-outs and self-exclusion tools that Operators provide.
11.2. We recommend debit Mastercard or Interac over credit cards, because many Canadian issuers bill gambling transactions as cash advances with fees and interest from day one.
11.3. Our Responsible Gambling page lists free provincial helplines, including ConnexOntario at 1-866-531-2600, and self-exclusion programs such as BetGuard in Ontario.
12. Disclaimer of Warranties
The Site and its Content are provided “as is” and “as available”. To the extent permitted by law, we make no warranty that the Content is complete, current or error-free, or that the Site will be uninterrupted or free of viruses. Nothing on the Site is financial, legal or tax advice.
13. Limitation of Liability
13.1. To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any loss arising from your use of the Site or of any Operator, including gambling losses, declined payments, cash advance fees or interest charged by your bank, bonus forfeiture, or changes in an Operator’s terms.
13.2. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited under applicable law, including the consumer protection laws of your province.
14. Indemnity
You agree to compensate us for reasonable losses, costs and legal fees resulting from your breach of these Terms or your misuse of the Site, to the extent permitted by law.
15. Complaints
15.1. If you are unhappy with the Site or with how we handled your information, write to [email protected] with a short description and any relevant links or screenshots.
15.2. We acknowledge complaints within two business days and send a full answer within 14 days. Complaints about an account, payment or bonus at an Operator should go to that Operator first and, where it holds a provincial registration, to the relevant regulator, such as the AGCO in Ontario or the AGLC in Alberta.
16. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Ontario and the federal laws of Canada that apply there. You may also rely on the mandatory consumer protection laws of the province where you live.
17. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms to reflect changes in the law, our services or our partners. The “Last updated” date shows the current version. Continued use of the Site after an update means you accept the revised Terms.
18. Severability
If any provision of these Terms is found invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions stay in full force.
